There are plenty of great ways to thoroughly enjoy your leisure and entertainment time with your spa all year round. An indoor or outdoor spa can be great for many different elements in your lifestyle; such as health, fitness, relaxation and entertainment. Spa Factory Seconds have come up with some fantastic ways for you and your loved ones to make the most of your spa.

Family

There are countless ways to enjoy your spa when you have a family. Children of all ages love the water; and a spa can be a wonderful way of getting them used to swimming, health and fun. When purchasing your very first spa, remember to consider the size and functionality of the spa – as all members of the family should fit comfortably. If you have a toddler, a spa can be a great way of encouraging them to learn to swim when set at an appropriate temperature – plenty of room for yourself and the child to learn safely. Relaxing with the family is always an good option – especially after a long day at work or school. As we all know, kids can get bored quickly – so consider some small bath toys to keep them amused whilst you sit back and relax!

Couples

A spa can be a wonderful option for couples at any age – providing health, relaxation and intimacy. Bathing at the end of a long day can be highly effective on sore, stressed bodies – and can also be a lovely way to mentally wind down with your partner. If opting for an indoor spa, you can easily make use of the spa all year round with no hassels. Turn on the jets for a therapeutic massage, or open a bottle of wine for your enjoyment – fantastic!

Friends

Entertaining friends is easy if you own an indoor or outdoor spa – everyone loves to sit back and relax! There are spa options available for both males and females; from small electronic entertainment systems to aromatherapy packages. If purchasing a spa with a small television or stereo, be sure to switch these on when having friends over – it is sure to impress! For ladies, consider options such as at-home facials – creating your own day spa at home!

Come on down to Spa Factory Seconds today to view all of our fantastic spas in our Bayswater showroom – we promise you will be impressed!

A spa or swim spa is an ideal alternative to a swimming pool – providing you and your family with an indoor or outdoor health and relaxation option. Spas are simple to install and integrate into your home or backyard – let the experts at Spa Factory Seconds teach you a little more.

Installing a spa can be done efficiently and quickly when performed by the right person. There are many aspects to consider when installing a spa and these aspects will differ depending on whether spa is inground or portable. Some of these aspects are: hoses, electricity, pipes, pumps, drilling into the ground, space for the spa and any extra water costs should all be considered when setting up your new spa. Be sure to choose a suitable location for your spa; if you are not sure we are more than happy to assess your situation and provide you with handy advice.

We do suggest that upon selecting the space for your inground spa that excavation is performed as quickly as possible, as any extreme changes in weather or long periods of rain could affect the ground where you plan to install your spa. Another vital aspect that you consider is that in Australia is the law that all spas and pools deeper than 300mm must be surrounded by safety fencing, with self locking latches on any gates at least 1.5m high from the ground. Therefore your spa may very well need fencing and the cost and development must be considered before you install.

Our spa specialists have been dealing with and installing spas and swim spas for many years, and we guarantee that we can assist you with installing your spa. We can assist you in selecting the perfect spa for your backyard; integrating the style with your garden and features. Be sure to contact Spa Factory Seconds today to find out more about spa installation and integration.

Installing a spa indoors can provide spa users with an all year round solution, and plenty of privacy. Of course, in order to make the most of your indoor spa, you will need to consider a few elements.

You will need to consider where your spa will go – and generally this will need to be a room of its own. The room will need to be able to withstand damp conditions, from all sorts of elements such as people entering and leaving the spa, steam and splashes. Basements and enclosed porches are very popular locations for indoor spas. The flooring that you select must be able to hold the spa when it is completely full of water, it is best to have it assessed by a professional .

Ensure that you measure and consider all access points in order to create a smooth delivery and installation prior to purchasing. Every 3-6 months you should drain, clean and refill the water, so easy access to a place you can drain the water to is a must. The spa experts at Spa Factory Seconds can help you out; so let them know if you are looking at installing your spa indoors.
